Young children learn best through hands-on, sensory experiences, which is why a sensory table is an essential feature in PreK classrooms, kindergartens, and daycare settings. Sensory light play supports fine motor development, cognitive growth, and self-regulation skills in a fun and engaging way.

Unlike many light centres, our light panel is removable, allowing it to be used in different areas of the classroom. Built-in brackets support the light panel, and when the light panel is removed, the opening can be covered with the included lid. This creates a usable surface for continued play—either the smooth tabletop side or the construction brick side. The lid can also be used elsewhere in the classroom, giving children the freedom to build on the floor or at another table while the light table is in use. When not needed, it slides neatly into a built-in storage shelf, making it easy to rotate learning centres throughout the day.
